Our Raft Building takes place on a private lake which is designed to keep you in a controlled environment. We also provide everybody with a buoyancy aid, helmet and wetsuit should you decide to go for a quick swim.

Is it suitable for a big group?

Yes! we have a large fleet of kit available for you to use. This is an activity that is more amazing when shared with others. We also offer exciting canoeing and kayaking sessions if you are looking for something that little bit different.

You will get wet but hey isn’t that what adventure is all about!

What do I need to bring?

We will provide you with everything, all we ask is that you bring a towel and spare clothes. If you have your own equipment then please also bring that along so you can get comfortable with it. Please note you will need to wear shoes in the water and they are very likely to get wet which is why we recommend wearing an old pair.

This beautiful venue makes a great day out even without the fun on offer from Live for Today. We were celebrating a 70th birthday and chose adventure over pampering. Our day started with Quad Biking, followed by Cryptic Chase, lunch in the tea rooms, then Raft Building. Our guide, Geoff, surely thought that he had drawn the short straw when he was allocated to us. He was, however, totally unflappable, knowledgeable and kind.
